Zack Kielich is Senior Director of Product Management at Cisco, where he leads a $1B+ firewall portfolio spanning Secure Firewall, Virtual Firewall, and Cloud Firewall (formerly Valtix) — covering hardware, virtual, cloud, and container form factors. His responsibility spans the full spectrum of how enterprises enforce network security policy, from physical appliances at the network edge to cloud-native enforcement in multi-cloud environments. Zack brings over two decades of experience across technical support, sales engineering, technical marketing, and product management — a cross-functional foundation that gives him an unusually clear line of sight from customer pain to product execution. He began his career in IT service management before moving into cloud computing, where he developed deep expertise in cloud and application provisioning, automation, and observability. Today, his product focus is squarely on outcomes that matter to customers: reducing operational costs, accelerating time to value, and shortening time to market for organizations deploying and managing firewall infrastructure at scale. Zack holds a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience from California State University, Long Beach — a background he credits for a systems-thinking approach and a persistent focus on how users actually experience technology. He lives in Encinitas, CA with his wife and two kids, and in his spare time can be found coaching youth soccer, coding with AI, running 3D printers, or chasing the next interesting problem.
